This is the best compact cameras you could get (still expensive). I can say is way better than a smartphone camera. The quality of the photos and videos is incredible. Newmowa NP-BX1 RX100 Battery pack:

You may always need a backup tripod inside your backpack, this may be the one for you. It is light, easy to use and it packs really small. It starts at 5 Euros on Amazon.
Anker PowerCore 13000 mAh PowerBank
If you are traveling or just working all day long, at some point you’ll need to give juice to your devices. Plugs are not so easy to find, or you just don’t have the time to stay and wait for your smartphone to charge. For this reason, my suggestion is to always keep in your bag one of this.
